We inform about how we handle cookies and other privacy issues on the site.
We also describe how we work with accessibility on the website and in our publications.
This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. Cookies are used to retain user preferences and provide anonymised tracking data to third party application Google Analytics. Nikk.no uses Google Analytics to enhance user experience and make changes to the website in order to meet user needs. No data that can identify individuals are collected. As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser.
The University of Gothenburg (where NIKK and the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research are placed) is responsible for all processing of personal data that takes place as part of our activities. We safeguard all information entrusted to us.

NIKK stores applications in a separate database and on our private server, to assess and administer applications and to be able to keep in contact with the participating organisations – and for follow up and evaluation. We also share information with the Nordic Council of MInisters’ representatives for the same reasons.
Nikk.no is responsive and should work in all types of devices. The site works with screen readers, contains easy-to-read material and uses direct language. The site is optimized for tab navigation.
The publications and other media NIKK have produced from September 2018 are made accessible. If you are looking for older publications or media and need them made accessible: contact us, and we will help you.
If you have any questions about cookies, our policy or third part software on our website, please don’t hesitate to contact nikk@genus.gu.se. NIKK is placed at the National Secretariat for Gender Research, which in turn belongs to the University of Gothenburg. More information on the university organisation and the Data protection officer are available at Gothenburg University’s page on Processing of personal data.
