Integrity policy

Cookies

To analyse data, we use Siteimprove, which does not set any cookies.

The CookieYES tool, which manages visitors’ cookie preferences, sets the cookie cookieyes-consent at the time of the visit so that the user does not have to be asked the cookie question again for a certain period of time.

The Polylang language extension sets the pll_language cookie to remember the language the user has chosen to use the website in.

Processing personal data

The University of Gothenburg (where NIKK and the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research are placed) is responsible for all processing of personal data that takes place as part of our activities. We safeguard all information entrusted to us.

Read more about how the university complies with GDPR

How we handle applications for funding

NIKK stores applications in a separate database and in our SharePoint, to assess and administer applications and to be able to keep in contact with the participating organisations – and for follow up and evaluation. We also share information with the Nordic Council of Ministers’ representatives for the same reasons.

Contact and more information

If you have any questions about cookies, our policy or third part software on our website, please don’t hesitate to contact nikk@genus.gu.se. NIKK is placed at the National Secretariat for Gender Research, which in turn belongs to the University of Gothenburg. More information on the university organisation and the Data protection officer are available at Gothenburg University’s page on Processing of personal data.
