NIKK administers two funds on behalf of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The purpose of the funds is to stimulate Nordic co-operation in the field of gender equality and LGBTI.
Nordic Gender Equality Fund
Through the Nordic Gender Equality Fund, the Nordic Council of Ministers issues an annual call for proposals for funding projects in which at least three organisations, from at least three Nordic countries, collaborate.
NIKK administers the Fund on behalf of the Nordic Council of Ministers, including calls for proposals, assessment of proposals, and monitoring of results.
The 2025 call opens on 3 March and closes on 3 April.
The Nordic LGBTI Fund finances co-operation that promotes the opportunities and rights of LGBTI people. The Nordic Council of Ministers uses the fund to make annual calls for proposals for projects involving co-operation between at least three organisations from at least three Nordic countries.
NIKK administers the fund on behalf of the Nordic Council of Ministers, including the call, assessment and follow-up of results.
The 2025 call will open on 1 September and close on 1 October.
